First Saturday of 2008 wasn’t an interesting one as I spent it all sitting out at home. I was trying to repair my DVD player which stopped working about a week back. Nothing more to discuss about the day, it was a truly jaded and an unsuccessful one.
Dawn broke through my window panes alarming me for the start of a brand new vivid Sunday. I was restless to get out of the house. Had a coffee and laid out my plan to hit the road in any scenario. My wife was game for the plan.
Thus we headed to Garuda mall. We found out that Taare Zameen Par was not running full; so just hooked us for the 12:15 PM show. I had already gathered some reviews about the movie but not the story. Shockingly, all the reviews that I heard and read have been good. But I really dint build any castle in the air.
Movie started; it was slow but a steady start. Subtle but very well defined humor won our hearts to start with. All the expressions were very well demonstrated; especially the variety in the mother’s character on the lines of irritation, love and anger has the shine of Atomic Number 47 with a cherry on top. Transition between scenes were seamless. The animation of 3 x 9 = 3 was a heart winner. Ishan’s role was well scripted and very well acted by ‘Darsheel Safary’. Aamir’s entry into the story could have been a bit earlier but looking at the mode of the story I guess we need to accept the justice. Overall a story, well written and directed.
I would not like to give out any spices about the move as it is ONE to be watched and that too only in the theatres if you really wanna feel the worth of so many things (List endless, but you surely will not feel the pain of spending a couple of hundreds…it would be money well worth spending).
Now the part of ‘I Discover’, we all would be in a position to relate ourselves to the movie to a good extent. But some people, like me had more than just the obvious reasons. That is where the biological description of Dyslexia comes into picture. Everyone needs to understand that kids are just not playful but are also very keen on doing things that they do. I for one truly connected to the story to understand that life as a kid was kind of difficult understanding so many things from Maths to Science to English and many more. But as time matured, I also grew into scheme of things. But things are much worse for kids who are affected in a greater sense. Individuals as kids have the greatest learning curves in their life and parents should have the fine knowledge on educating their kids. As kids, are the true transformation of parent's soul.
